The famous Woodstock Music Festival will forever be known as one of the craziest cultural events to ever take place. For three whole days, over 400,000 people got together in upstate New York to take part in over 32 performances, performed by legends like Jimi Hendrix, The Grateful Dead, The Who, Joe Cocker and many more. The festival’s famed slogan was, “Three days of peace and music”.

Unlike what most people think, the festival actually took place in Bethel, New York, and not In Woodstock.
