10. Edward Witten
Edward was named in 2004 in times magazine’s “100 most influential people in the world” list. Witten has additionally had a remarkable impact on the world of mathematics. He has gained many awards, which include the iFields Medal, the Dirac Prize, the Albert Einstein Medal and the Nemmers Prize in mathematics.
Edwards work shows a completely unique mixture of mathematical strength and physics perception, and his contributions have appreciably enriched each field over time. He is currently visiting Caltech, and works as a professor in the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton, New Jersey.
